With $100, Armando Palacios opened our flagship restaurant, ARMANDOS. A white table cloth Tex-Mex restaurant seemed crazy in town full of taquerias, but 47 years later ARMANDOS has been solidified as a genuine icon in Houston’s vibrant and evolving culinary landscape. Palacios Murphy is still a family-owned business owned and operated by Armando and his wife Cinda Murphy de Palacios who is the CEO of the group and oversees the development and operations of the boutique groups’ brands.
